PROGRAM GOALS
ECHO Ontario Forensic Mental Health
This program aims to build capacity among mental health providers to deliver evidence-informed, recovery-oriented forensic psychiatric care, with a focus on risk assessment and management, reducing stigma, and supporting safe community reintegration.
The project works to empower healthcare providers to use best practices to address the varying needs of, and improve outcomes for, people with serious mental illness who have had contact with the law.

SESSION STRUCTURE
Welcome, Introduction, and Announcements – 10 minutes
Didactic Presentation – 30 minutes
Case Discussion –45 minutes
Addressing Outstanding Questions and Session Wrap-Up – 5 minutes

Our program sessions are run by an inter-professional Hub Team from multiple health organizations across Ontario.
