Forensic Mental Health

PROGRAM GOALS

ECHO Ontario Forensic Mental Health

This program aims to build capacity among mental health providers to deliver evidence-informed, recovery-oriented forensic psychiatric care, with a focus on risk assessment and management, reducing stigma, and supporting safe community reintegration.

The project works to empower healthcare providers  to use best practices to address the varying needs of, and improve outcomes for, people with serious mental illness who have had contact with the law.
